Entering the Industry from
School
Every year our
members employ apprentices and trainees across the industry, trainees
and apprentices work in the industry alongside experienced trades people
and attend TAFE one day a week. At the end of their traineeship or
apprenticeship they are recognised as experienced trades people with
trade qualifications.

Service Technician
AMCA is the professional association for the Air
Conditioning industry in NSW.
Each year our members offer a number of apprenticeships
for Service Technicians. Service Technicians perform maintenance,
repair work and commissioning of air conditioning systems.
Once you have earned your trade qualification there is a
variety of career opportunities in Australia and overseas.
Apprentices attend TAFE and specialist sessions with industry
professionals through AMCA, receiving a nationally-recognised
qualification at the end of their apprenticeship.
This
role represents a unique opportunity to start your career with one of

Apprenticeship: Mechanical Drafting
AMCA
is the professional association for the Air Conditioning industry in
NSW.
Each
year our members offer a number of apprenticeships in Mechanical
Drafting.
Apprentices
learn about the commercial and industrial air conditioning industry.
They gain hands-on experience in preparing design and workshop
detailed drawings and plans using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).
Apprentices attend TAFE and specialist sessions with industry
professionals through AMCA, receiving a nationally-recognised
qualification at the end of their apprenticeship.
This

Traineeship: Air Conditioning Duct Installation
AMCA is the professional association for the Air
Conditioning & Mechanical Contracting industry in NSW.
Each year our members offer a number of entry-level opportunities for
Air Conditioning Trainees working on site installing sheet metal
ductwork systems throughout Sydney.
Trainees attend TAFE, receiving a recognised trade
certificate at the successful completion of their traineeship.
With on-the-job and off-the-job training and a generous

apprenticeships in Mechanical Plumbing.
Apprenticed mechanical plumbers install commercial air
conditioning pipe work on sites throughout Sydney.
Apprentices attend TAFE one day a week and learn on the
job with experienced trade people. At the end of your traineeship you
will receive a nationally-recognised trade certificate.
